Better Late than Never…

I know Easter was this past weekend, but I found this great idea on Martha Stewart Living and I figured better late than never. Good ideas are ideas worth sharing. This is an easy way to decorate eggs without all the mess of PAAS dye. It’s a nice twist on an old tradition at our house. I boiled the eggs, rinsed them with cool water and let them sit for about 10mins. While they were still warm, I used the kids non-toxic Elmer’s glue stick to cover the bottom half of the egg. Then the kids dipped them in these pretty sprinkles from Target, several times until covered. I let them dry in mini sundae glasses, sprinkle side up. Once dried, we laid them on pink Easter grass and voila! Perfect Easter centerpiece or basket decoration. The images below were taken with my iPhone 4s, edited with PicTapGo and posted to Instagram.
